Long-time Argonia resident, Shirley (Koehler) Shinliver, expressed a serious need for a funeral home following the closing of their previous funeral provider. Bryce and Sally Day then decided to begin the expansion of their funeral business into the surrounding communities and with the help of Shirley look forward to remaining in this wonderful community.

Day Funeral Home & Crematory opened in the downtown area in March of 2003. The facility provides a place for visitations, viewings, and the arrangement conference.
